Rescheduling the art drop (ish) and the Etsy question
Share
Brief update, honestly mainly posting on here to keep up-to-date with posting since its a goal I have this year, so, apologies if this is dull, I will hopefully think of something more interesting to post later, and if I don't, I promise to become a hermit and never post on here again :)
Anyway!
First update, my art drop will not be on its usual last Friday of the month, and will be pulled forward to Friday July 19th at the usual time of 8pm GMT. This is because I'm away camping at the end of the month, so highly doubt I will have the signal to do an art drop, and I also don't want to, I want to be camping and enjoying some time off. One small issue with this art drop plan, is that I've actually not made any art for it ... okay, maybe its a big issue oops. So, instead, I will be adding my last 3 months worth of art as prints, and I will be having a fairly large sale on on-hand prints and original art! So, these pieces will finally be available in print form:
A lot of my recent work has unfortunately not been suitable to be made into prints due to their shapes and media, but Im really happy with this little selection. These prints are using a print-on-demand service, this means they are printed to order, and sent directly to you from the printing company. The printing company has locations all across the globe, so shipping for international buyers should be nice and speedy since it can be printed in your home country. Since they are print on demand, they are more expensive than my on hand prints (which I only have a small selection of currently), but using these services does mean I can have a much wider print selection since there is no up-front costs for me and I have VERY limited space to store prints. Saying that, I am planning on making way more on-hand prints available, since:
- They are cheaper for you guys to shop
- Even though they are cheaper, I actually make more money from them, as with my on-demand prints, the print company takes a VERY large cut.
- It gives me more options of prints to sell at markets.
So, there's al the info you need for this Fridays print drop. These will be available on both this website and my etsy this Friday at 8pm BST.
Also on the topic of etsy...
Was planning on re-updating my etsy *fairly* soon, but am currently on the fence. If you're within the 3r0tic art world, you may have noticed the new Etsy guidelines are being introduced fairly soon, and they are stamping down further on s3xual content, so the future of us 3rot1c artists using the site is, well, iffy. So although I will definitely beading the prints onto the etsy (since its literally just a few button clicks to copy over the print listings), at the moment, im unsure about posting my original art there since it will take me a long time, and it may put my account more at risk.
So for now, this website is still the best way to shop my art, andddd, there will also be an exciting website rebrand fairly soon!
Well, that's everything today! So, I will leave you guys to your days xxx
